Job descriptionThe expected rate of pay will be around $25-30 / hr. This is a full-time and permanent position Ensuring proper placement, leveling, and finish of concrete Checking formwork, base, and reinforcements for structural integrity Employing finishing techniques with hand and power tools to meet specifications Renovating and repairing existing structures Applying hardening, sealing, and waterproofing to surfaces Installing fixtures in freshly poured concrete Adhering to traffic control plans to always ensure site safety. 2+ years of concrete finishing experience Ability to lift 50lbs regularly Valid Class 5 Driver’s license Familiarity with tool and equipment operation Proficient in blueprint reading Competency in electronic paperwork Comfortable working in all weather conditions Willingness to learn! Heavy equipment operation experience Knowledge of caulking, masonry, and installation practices
Select’s construction client is looking for a Concrete Finisher to place, smooth, and finish poured concrete. This role includes hand work, troweling, framing, clearing forms, shoveling, using hand tools, and basic equipment operation.
