Role Summary
Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the IT Operations Analyst at NPF will manage diverse tasks within the department, playing a key role in assessing, developing, and enhancing IT processes, procedures, and systems.
This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and supporting NPF’s overall success.
As the IT Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring Help Desk performance to ensure quick and effective resolution of IT issues.
Your problem-solving skills and keen eye for detail will help identify trends and root causes, confirming that complex problems are escalated and resolved swiftly.
You will oversee the technical support process, ensuring that business critical platforms and applications run smoothly.
Managing devices within the National Office, you will oversee the maintenance and optimization of hardware and software resources.
Your expertise will be vital in maintaining change registers and acting as a change management expert.
You will also champion disaster recovery by participating in test plans to ensure the readiness of NPF for any unexpected events, securing critical operations as a result.
Additionally, you will drive innovation within the team by streamlining processes and developing comprehensive knowledge-base articles and documentation.
Collaboration with various departments will be essential to understand their needs and deliver optimal IT solutions. Staying up to date with advancements in IT and cybersecurity, you will work closely with the IT security teams to upgrade and implement internal systems, ensuring a secure and efficient IT infrastructure that meets the organization’s evolving needs.
Qualifications
With a minimum of four years of experience supporting corporate IT infrastructures in a Microsoft-based environment, you bring proven expertise in end-user support, networks, firewalls, and related technologies, ideally with exposure to working within a non-profit setting.
Your technical proficiency spans computer systems, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems, supported by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Additionally, your exceptional communication skills enable you to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences, with bilingualism as a valued asset.
You have a strong track record in managing and prioritizing tasks and projects within dynamic environments, along with superior project management abilities, ensuring efficient execution and delivery of initiatives.
Adaptability is a cornerstone of your approach, allowing you to navigate changing situations and concepts with a keen eye for detail and a thoughtful approach to change management.
