Qualifications and Experience
- Please clearly demonstrate on your cover letter and resume how you meet the following qualifications and experience : Grade 12 graduation or equivalent;
- Experience working with youth;Post-secondary training in Exceptionalities Worker Program, Special Education, Teacher Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Services or Medical Services would be an asset;
Experience integrating self-regulation and social-emotional care practices in the classroom is an asset;Experience working with Indigenous learners in a culturally diverse community is an asset.
Experience with restorative justice in a classroom setting would be an asset. Experience working with neuro-diverse students will be an asset.
NOTE : Candidates who have education, training and / or experience equivalent to the education criteria listed above will be equally considered.

Desire and passion for developing and maintaining strong and respectful relationships and trust with students, their families, school staff, First Nation education workers, and the community as a whole.

Completion of the Educational Assistant Module by the end of the 2023 / 24 school year.
