The Food Service Manager contributes to the success of the PepsiCo Beverages Canada by leading the sales and distribution strategy for a regional distribution center.
This broad leadership role encompasses sales, customer service and marketing equipment and warehousing operations.
Responsibilities
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities :
- Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region
- Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
- Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards
- Develop strong talent pipeline with frontline Supervisors for export to larger roles within PepsiCo
- Effectively lead delivery and merchandising operations through consistent delivery and merchandising standards in a Geo-Box environment
- Effectively lead the warehouse and facility management operations
- Effectively lead strong and positive labor relations with the Association
- Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees
- Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business
- Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required
- Demonstrated analytical and math skills required to build key insights for quarterly and annual operating planning and previous experience managing a large scale P&L
- Strong communication and presentation skills required
- Strong change management skills required
- Consumer products experience in a direct store delivery environment required
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Strong change management skills required
- Five years of people leadership required, preferably in a sales environment
- Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle
