Drill Crew Labour

Job Description

Working onsite with drill crew to install underground utilities and pipe. Will be responsible for installing underground vaults and tying in conduit. This person will assist the team with all aspects of onsite construction. At times this person may be required to drive light and heavy trucks to and from the job sites.

Responsibilities

• Transporting Truck, Trailer and equipment to and from site.
• Operating or assisting the operator of a mini excavator to prep site for drill crew
• Transporting conduit and fiber to and from
• Assist with maintaining the Drill and equipment during operation
• Assisting with install of conduit and fiber
• Clean up of drill site once conduit has been drilled
• Setting up a safe work site
• Use of hand tools
• Communicate the task at hand to the drill crew
• Setting up a safe work site
• Able to read and interpret underground Telco designs
• An understanding of under ground utilities
• Able to read and interpret utility locates

Requirements

Clean Driver abstract

Criminal background check

Experienced in a similar role

Construction experience in the telecommunication field is a plus

Experience and A / Z driver license is a plus

An understanding of underground utilities is a plus

Able to read and interpret utility locates is a plus

Able to work flexible hours and weekends when required
