Summary / ObjectivePaymentus leads the North American marketplace in electronic bill payment solutions and is looking for high performers to join our development team building SaaS Fintech solutions across a range of industries.

Paymentus' success and rapid growth provides employees with opportunities for career advancement.The Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting, monitoring and tooling of Cloud deployments.

The Cloud Engineer works closely with the Development and QA teams to produce reliable and secure production infrastructures and operate multiple environments in the software development process.

Essential Functions / ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with team members to achieve successful continuous delivery solutionsBuild, maintain environments in Cloud using Terraform and KubernetesDesign and develop scalable tools and applicationsTroubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of production systemTriage and debug any issues that arise during testing and productionAutomate testing across CI / CD and cloud infrastructure managementMonitor applications to ensure system healthQuality assurance of infrastructure to ensure security, reliability, and scalabilityBuild and maintain RESTful APIs to support integrationsWork with internal customers (Development, QA, Implementation, and others) to support deploymentsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldTwo to three years of Cloud experienceProficient in AWS and other Cloud TechnologiesProficient in Terraform Experience working with KubernetesKnowledge of Node.

JS and MicroservicesIn-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryKnowledge on relational and non-relational databasesWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
