Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Operations Analyst for a contract opportunity supporting master data integrity within a fast-paced retail environment. This role is ideal for a recent university or college graduate with education in business, marketing, strategy, economics, analytics, or a related field who is looking to build hands-on experience in data analysis, business operations, and reporting.

As a Data Operations Analyst, you will work closely with Stores, Operations, Category Management, and other business teams to manage data requests, investigate issues, and support accurate master data across the organization. This is a strong opportunity to learn from experienced teams, contribute to meaningful business processes, and develop practical skills in Excel, SAP, reporting, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage incoming data inquiries from Stores, Operations, Category Management, and other internal business teams.
- Investigate and resolve master data issues while supporting data maintenance and accuracy across business operations.
- Analyze data requests using Excel and other tools to identify trends, issues, and potential process improvements.
- Support reporting, dashboards, automated processes, and KPI monitoring related to data quality and business performance.
- Assist with testing, implementation, and improvement of processes that support accurate and efficient data operations.
- Communicate findings, updates, and issue resolutions clearly with colleagues across different levels of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
- Contract length: 6 months with strong possibility of extension to 9 months and potential for hire.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid role with 4 days per week in office.
