Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice (313A) 3rd or 4th year – Niagara Region

Location: Beamsville, Ontario
Pay: $25–$35/hour for apprentices | $40–$45/hour for licensed 313A mechanics
Hours: 35–45 hours per week, typically daytime shifts

This opportunity is for a registered 3rd or 4th year 313A apprentice or fully licensed 313A mechanic to join a non-union service team based in Beamsville. The team serves the Niagara Region, specializing in commercial refrigeration design, installation, service and maintenance.

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians on commercial and industrial HVAC-R projects, with limited residential work. This is an opportunity to strengthen your troubleshooting skills, gain varied hands-on experience and contribute to a team that takes pride in its workmanship.

What you’ll do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, with responsibilities suited to your experience and qualifications.

• Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical specifications.

• Provide professional, courteous service at customer sites.

• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.

• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.

What you’ll bring

• Registration as a 3rd or 4th year 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprentice, or a valid 313A licence.

• At least two years of hands-on HVAC experience.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.

• A valid Ontario G driver’s licence and clean driving record.

• Working at Heights certification.

• A dependable, safety-conscious approach and the ability to work well with others.

• The ability to work independently within the scope of your training and qualifications.

References and a criminal background check are required as part of the hiring process.
