Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a Welder for our client in Bowmanville, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders with experience in MIG welding, fabrication, metal assembly, production welding, and all-position welding who are looking to join a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components while ensuring all welds meet quality, safety, and production standards.

  • Pay Rate: $25.58- $30.00/hour + 5% premium for afternoon shift

  • Location: Bowmanville, ON

  • Shift: Afternoon | 4x10 | Availability 24/5 to support all shifts as required

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and weld metal components according to drawings and specifications.

  • Perform all-position welding and assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

  • Repair welded components and structures to restore functionality and quality.

  • Inspect completed welds and verify dimensions using measuring tools and templates.

  • Select, position, align, and secure materials and components for welding.

  • Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues while maintaining production schedules.

  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workstations in a clean and organized condition.

  • Follow welding procedures, safety standards, and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in Welding or a related trade.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with all-position welding techniques.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and specifications.

  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
