Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly organized, customer-focused Onsite Recruitment Coordinator to support a high-volume workforce program at one of our client locations. This role is ideal for an energetic recruitment professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with both employees and client stakeholders.

As the primary onsite point of contact, you will play a critical role in recruiting top talent, coordinating onboarding, supporting workforce planning, and driving employee engagement initiatives.   • Pay Rate: $26.00 - $27.00/hour

  • Location: Oshawa/Ajax, ON

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 6-month contract | 3-days/week on site

Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled, and industrial positions

  • Review applications, screen candidates, and conduct interviews

  • Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, and recruitment campaigns

  • Source candidates through referrals, online job boards, community partnerships, and social media channels

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support ongoing staffing needs

  • Promote open positions across various recruitment platforms

Onboarding & New Hire Support

  • Coordinate onboarding activities and pre-employment requirements

  • Facilitate new hire orientations and site-specific training programs

  • Ensure employment documentation is completed accurately and on time

  • Communicate start dates, schedules, and assignment expectations

  • Provide support to associates throughout their onboarding journey

Workforce Management

  • Monitor daily attendance and staffing levels

  • Coordinate replacement staffing and shift coverage as required

  • Track employee performance, productivity, and attendance trends

  • Conduct regular associate check-ins and address workplace concerns

  • Escalate employee relations issues when appropriate

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary onsite liaison between the client and staffing team

  • Attend operational meetings and provide workforce updates

  • Respond quickly to staffing requests and workforce challenges

  • Build strong relationships with client leadership and supervisors

  • Support workforce planning and anticipated hiring requirements

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records

  • Prepare reports related to hiring activity, attendance, turnover, and workforce metrics

  • Update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and internal databases

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and employment legislation

Employee Engagement

  • Conduct employee check-ins and stay interviews

  • Support recognition and retention initiatives

  • Assist associates with questions related to payroll, attendance, assignments, and workplace policies

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Qualifications and Skills:

Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, human resources, workforce coordination, or talent acquisition

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS)

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Preferred

  • Experience supporting high-volume recruitment programs

  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, distribution, industrial, or production environments
