Expected Salary: $51,888 to $68,102

To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

Description

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support to project teams, including:
  • Assisting in the management and reporting of project resources, risk, opportunities, and issues
  • Scheduling and facilitating stakeholder meetings, including compiling meeting minutes and recording & tracking actions
  • Supporting project stakeholder management and communications
  • Managing and maintaining project documents as required
  • Producing reports and presentations for board reviews, progress meetings, etc. as required
  • Develop metrics and manage databases in support of project delivery objectives
  • Carry out document and records management (electronic and hard copy filing, archiving) ensuring compliance with Document Control processes
  • Support in the administration of subcontracts and subcontractors
  • Manage the project SharePoint site to facilitate communications and data availability
  • Coordinate onsite visitors including support to health & safety requirements
  • Develop, manage, and release project communications and formal reporting to the client
  • Assist in the management of key improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate project collaboration including tracking and following up on timelines and deliverables, progress reports and action items
  • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs

The ideal candidate brings:

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in project management, preferably in an Engineering or Marine environment
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the ability to collate and present information at appropriate levels
  • Ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives.
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually
  • Knowledge of scheduling practise / toolsets are strong assets
  • A working knowledge with progressing/work package database etc. (Project Estimating and Planning System (PEPS) is desirable
  • Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
