We are always on the lookout for new talent. Job OverviewThe HSE Coordinator (Health - Safety - Environment) ensures a healthy and safe working environment for the company's employees, as well as respect for the environment.

He / she ensures compliance with the regulatory and health, safety, and environmental standards. Responsibilities & TasksDevelop and maintain a proactive company-wide culture of respect for health, safety, and the environmentPreside over Health and Safety Committee meetingsAct as a point of contact with external organizations for compliance with various health, safety and environment standards and regulations (CNESST, Ville de Montréal City of Montreal , MDDELCC, environmental agencies, etc.

Act as PCI representative with the insurance regarding health and safety risk. Ensure that the actions required by the insurance company are put in place and followedDevelop a list of preventive and corrective measures in health, safety, and the environment.

Implement the various actions. Manage health and safety roundsPerform risk and operability studies (HAZOP) and ensure that the measures identified in the studies are completed.

Perform risk assessment studies (Safety Assessments), and ensure that the actions are completedConduct investigations and follow up on incident reportsAssist the engineering department and project managers in identifying standards and regulatory compliance in environmental, health and safety mattersOrganize health, safety, and environmental trainingAct as a representative of PyroGenesis Canada Inc.

to clients for any questions related to health, safety, and the environmentObtain and maintain the permits required for the company's health, safety, and environmental operationsSet up and optimize a waste management systemProvide technical advice with respect to industry standards, and occupational health & safety and environmental requirements.

Keep documentation updated : emergency plan, internal procedures Education & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical fieldStrong leadership in the application of safety rules and implementation of new proceduresKnowledge of the risk and operability review process is considered an assetHaving an initiative attitude, being motivated, and possessing a file showing his / her achievements in the field of industrial health and safety Knowledge of English (written and spoken) is an asset.

ExperienceAt least 2 years of experience in a field related to industrial health and safety, or in a related field PyroGenesis Canada Inc.
