Position Summary:We are seeking a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher who is passionate about providing exceptional service and thrives in a fast-paced hands-on environment. This role involves assisting customers with their building supply needs through daily interactions in person over the phone and via email. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with customers while supporting sales and dispatch ResponsibilitiesProcess sales orders accurately and and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and repeat Outside Sales Reps with job quoting and administrative in business development by contacting dormant accounts to promote products and a solid understanding of our product offerings to provide expert guidance to customer objections and provide solutions to meet their communicate product/service benefits pricing and credit terms and prepare relevant documentation (sales orders reports etc.).Manage store administration including invoicing inventory accuracy and cycle open document management including purchase orders (POs) sales orders (SOs) transfers and timely and professional communication of issues and successes with to company policies procedures and industry as a brand ambassador maintaining professionalism with both customers and duties as Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the delivery and communicating delivery information to operations warehouse delivery teams and with other team members to ensure delivery and report on required metrics and issues and successes to superiors in a timely all information and instructions with loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse when with deliveries at job sites when as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customersFollow all regulations company policies and duties as and QualificationsSecondary education in business commerce supply chain management management or equivalent experience and on the job forklift certification and experience are of a valid G-class license with a good driving record - DZ class is preferredSelf-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to experience in the building materials industry is preferred but not writtenand verbal communication -savvy with the ability to navigateindustry-related software and to managepressure meet deadlines and handle customer demands Health benefits - including drug coverage practitioner dental vision disability and life savings (pension or other) are -Company discounts (mobile phone gym membership etc.) training programs and opportunities for career advancement group events and moreIf you feel we are a good fit for your career goals and skillset we invite you to apply and look forward to reviewing your part of the GMS Inc. family of companies you can launch your career with a North American building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and value our team members and believe them to be our greatest assets.
