Hours: Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and participation in an on-call rotation.

Rate of Pay: $30.45- $36.29 (Starting salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience qualifications internal equity and market conditions.)

How You Will Make an Impact

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager the Program Supervisor enhances the dignity and quality of life of clients caregivers and staff through the delivery of person-centered services and supports.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned portfolio including the scheduling of services onboarding of new clients supervision and mentoring of staff monitoring quality outcomes conducting clinical audits coordinating care with community partners and supporting positive client experiences.

What Youll Bring to Our Team

  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Good Shepherd.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership and supervisory experience including scheduling attendance management performance management and resource management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with chronic health conditions physical mental health and cognitive care needs.
  • Diploma or degree from an accredited institution in health care social services nursing or a related field combined with relevant experience.
  • Nursing background is preferred.
  • Experience working in community care home care seniors services or other healthcare settings.
  • Strong clinical leadership skills and knowledge of leading practices.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal organizational and computer skills.
  • Strong leadership mentoring problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Applicants must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuing education.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and on-call responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of harm reduction approaches to care.
  • Commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices and the mission and values of Good Shepherd.
  • Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset.
  • Excellent attendance record required.
  • Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations.
