Orangetheory Fitness Oshawa is a premium fitness studio delivering total-body group workouts based on heart rate-based interval training. Position Summary

As a Fitness Coach, you are the heartbeat of the Orangetheory experience. You’ll lead high-energy classes, provide expert guidance, and motivate members to reach their full potential — all while delivering a scientifically-backed workout that drives results. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead group workouts that combine treadmill, rowing, and strength floor exercises in a high-energy setting.
  • Use OTconnect™ and heart rate zone data to provide a personalized experience for each member.
  • Offer exercise modifications and ensure proper form to promote safety and effectiveness.
  • Motivate, educate, and engage members of all fitness levels throughout each session.
  • Support studio operations by performing cleaning tasks, resetting equipment, and maintaining a safe, tidy studio environment.
  • Help foster a strong studio community and positive member relationships.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding customer service and support daily studio operations and sales.

Qualifications

  • Current Personal Training, Group Fitness, or related certification (CanFitPro, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.).
  • Post Secondary Education Diploma or equivalent in related field required
  • Educational background in kinesiology, exercise science, fitness, healthcare, or wellness is a strong asset.
  • CPR/AED certification
  • 1-2 years of Prior group fitness or personal training experience required
  • Strong knowledge of human movement, fitness programming, and exercise science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and inspiring others.
  • Professional, punctual, and passionate about helping others achieve their goals.
  • Must be available to coach minimum 6-8 classes per week
