We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our dedicated Customer Care Service team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the service and maintenance of ambulances, buses, and Ford and GM chassis at our Saskatoon facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Service Technician, you will
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on ambulances, buses, and chassis within our Saskatoon repair facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and HVAC systems, as well as service and maintain oxygen systems and vehicle body structures.
- Provide detailed documentation of work and collaborate with the Mobile and Shop Service
- Coordinator to recover warranty costs from manufacturers or third-party suppliers.
- Assist the Customer Care Team in addressing customer needs and providing timely solutions.
- Participate in bus upfitting, remounts, and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) as required.
- Engage in special projects as assigned.
- Conduct regular scheduled maintenance on a variety of vehicles to ensure reliability and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance, maintaining thorough records and communicating additional service needs to customers.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and objectives, ensuring consistency in all practices.
- Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly Customer Care Team meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
As the Service Technician, you will bring :
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, system schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Grade 12 education is required; additional certifications in automotive repair or HVAC systems are an asset.
- Quick learning ability for multiple manufacturer vehicle configurations, specifications, and conversion warranty programs.
