Job Description : Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of production processesincluding but not limited to wiring component installation cableassembly and the assembly of complete units.
- Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations asrequired.
- Ensure dimensional specifications onthe assigned products are correct to product specifications.
- Performs functional testing as part of theproduction activities and quality assurance audits.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meettolerances and product specifications.
- Useshand tools and power tools to assemble units according to productspecifications.
- Identifies units that failtests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
- Support the engineer and design team with design testfabrication modification and assembly of electromechanicalsystems.
- Reads and interprets mechanicalengineering drawings and pneumatic schematics.
- May be required to adjust mechanical assemblies usingdial indicator gauges torque watches and precision alignmenttechniques.
- Perform other duties asrequested.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to work from charts diagrams drafts orwritten / verbal description
- Ability tounderstand and interpret MPIs prints and technicalmanuals
- Knowledge of how to use basic handtools
- Good verbal and written communicationskills
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan prioritize and organizeworkload
- Must be a team player
- Multitasking and timemanagement skills with the abilityto prioritize tasks
- Availability to workextended hours including evenings and weekends to meet deadlineswhen necessary
- Experience in manufacturingassembly or a related industry preferred
- Previous vocational training preferred
