Job Description
Our client is a progressive and engineering-oriented company devoted to the manufacture and service of the electromagnetic induction equipment that is used for the heating, heat treating, and melting of metal.
Our client located in Ajax is currently seeking a Production Assembler / General Labourer.
Timings : 7 am to 3 : pm
Payrate : per hour
Duties include :
- Assemble power leads / cables including use of utility knife, cutting hose to specific lengths, cutting cable to specific lengths and assembling according to blueprints
- Must have blueprint reading knowledge
- Must be able to lift up to lbs.
- Capable of pulling cables
- Use of Oxygen, Acetylene
- Soft soldering
- Pressure testing with provided equipment
- Able to use power tools such a grinder, power drill, cut off saw, etc. .
- Must have own hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, hammer, etc. .)
- Sandblasting
- Painting
- Aid in shipping department
- Perform other duties as required
