Structural Engineer, P.Eng

Sky Sight Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This hands‑on role is ideal for an Ontario‑licensed engineer with Revit experience who is comfortable supporting structural design, architectural and Part 9 scopes, existing‑building work, and client‑facing project delivery across residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Designated Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) responsible for supervising, reviewing, and sealing all structural engineering work in compliance with the Professional Engineers Act (Ontario)
• Design, draft, and review structural drawings and calculations using Autodesk Revit and CAD
• Prepare architectural drawings, including Part 9 residential projects, where required
• Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code and applicable standards
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction
• Support renovations, additions, restorations, and change‑of‑use projects
• Conduct site visits, field reviews, and condition or damage assessments
• Participate in forensic, building science, and insurance‑related assignments, as required
• Assist with retroactive code interpretation and existing‑building assessments
