The Opportunity

The Transportation Operatoris responsible forrouting and transporting loads of corrugated board from the Corrugator via powered and / or gravity conveyor and byoperatinga fork truck.

What Youll Do

• Routes units of finished sheets to the Unitizer or loads of in-process board to the converting department.
• Workingsafetyandin accordance withCompany safety policies and procedures and OHS legislation; wear prescribed PPE and report all hazards to supervision
• Verify quality of all Finished Goods Units in the Warehouse
• Transportsloadson powered or gravity conveyor or moves loads with a fork truck.
• Inserts Finished Goods Load Tags or In-process Tags into loads asrequired.
• Operates the bander to unitize units of finished sheets and some in-process loads.
• Inspects the quality of the loads from the corrugator and removes defective sheets from the loads.
• Maintains good housekeeping and finishedsheetsstorage areas at the Corrugator.
• Stacks and stores units and load orders onto trailer asrequired
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and following food safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Back up for the position is Unitizer
• Other duties as assigned.
