Industrial Painter / Powder Coater / Spray Painter

Straight day Shift : 6 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm Monday to Thursday

6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm Fridays

PLEASE NOTE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST BE LEGALLY ENTITLED TO WORK IN CANADA, HAVE 2+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN POWDER COATING EQUPMENT, HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN AN INDUSTRIAL SETTING, HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings such as paint, powder, or varnish to wood parts and finished products.
• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and applying chemical treatments.
• Operate spray guns and other equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
• Monitor drying times and conditions to ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
• Document work performed and materials used accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a coater, painter, or in industrial painting roles.
• Proficiency in using spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Knowledge of different coating materials and their applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of work.
