Lead STEM Teacher – Phoenix Metro

Join us as a Lead STEM Teacher at Engineering for Kids, a franchise dedicated to inspiring children aged 4 to 14 with hands‑on engineering programs.

Job Summary

Are you ready to have fun while you work? We offer a paid training program and engaging STEM curriculum that makes this the best opportunity anywhere! We’re looking for a great Lead Teacher to help inspire the next generation of engineers.

Responsibilities

Collect materials from and return materials to the designated storage areas

Support the Lead Teacher in preparing supplies at the beginning of a program

Encourage student involvement by ensuring students begin warm‑up activities and assist individuals as needed

Practice excellence in teaching when delivering Engineering for Kids programs

Ensure classes operate smoothly by observing and recording data during student tests, managing supplies, and assisting in demonstrations

Provide appropriate instruction that considers the unique abilities of every student

Constantly strive to improve instruction through reflection and evaluation

Demonstrate initiative by seeking additional Engineering for Kids training and further education

Primary Duties

Support Engineering for Kids classes in a professional manner

Be courteous and approachable to students, parents, and staff

Follow the policies of the franchise location, which may include safety procedures and a dress code

Compensation

$17.00 per hour
