The Role
The Mathematics Department offers a wide range of preparatory and first- and second-year university transfer courses. For additional program information, please refer to the Douglas College Mathematics website at : https : / / www.

The department is seeking excellent mathematics instructors, with a demonstrated ability to motivate students with problems in learning mathematics, while also being able to support and challenge students interested in pursuing careers in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Engineering.
These instructors will enjoy working in a collaborative environment and be interested in participating in curriculum and program development.
Responsibilities As a faculty member in the Mathematics Department you will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in College courses.
You will plan, organize and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners and maintain quality learner-centered instruction.
You will also be expected to attend meetings, participate in faculty and college-wide committees and engage in ongoing professional development.
To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need Applicants should have a minimum of a Masters degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics from an accredited university and relevant post-secondary teaching experience.
