Position Details

Holy Spirit Catholic School in Devon, AB is currently seeking an Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic and social / emotional needs. The assignment is to begin February 17, 2026 and end June 29, 2026 of the 2025-2026 school year. Salary range $20.14 - $28.46 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Qualifications

• Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
• Experience working with students with diverse needs
• Able to effectively deal with crisis situations; physically able to lift and / or protect
• Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
• Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
• Diploma in child / youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech / Language Assistance are assets
