KeyResponsibilities

• Manage and resolvecomplex patient accounts and billingissues
• Review analyze and process insuranceclaims and rejections
• Ensure compliance withbilling and coding regulations
• Collaborate withmedical staff and insurance companies to resolve paymentdiscrepancies
• Provide training and guidance tojunior staff on billing processes
• Identifyopportunities for process improvement and revenueoptimization
• Monitor accounts receivable andfollow up on outstanding balances
• Generatefinancial reports and analysis for managementreview
• Assist in the implementation of newbilling and coding procedures
• Respond topatient inquiries and provide information on billing and accountstatus
• Participate in audits and compliancereviews
• Stay updated on changes in healthcarebilling and coding guidelines
• Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to resolve billingrelatedissues
• Ensure accurate and timely submission ofclaims to insurance providers
• Handle escalatedcustomer inquiries andcomplaints

RequiredQualifications

• Bachelor s degree inHealthcare Administration Business or relatedfield
• 3 years of experience in healthcarerevenue cycle management
• Demonstratedproficiency in medical billing andcoding
• Knowledge of healthcare complianceregulations (HIPAA OIG etc.)
• Experience workingwith healthcare billing software and EMRsystems
• Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal abilities
• Ability to work underpressure and meet deadlines
• Certification inMedical Billing and Coding (e.g. CPC)
• Thoroughunderstanding of insurance verification andeligibility
• Familiarity with ICD10 CPT andHCPCS coding systems
• Detailoriented with afocus on accuracy in financial data
• Proficientin MS Office especially Excel and Word
• Abilityto adapt to changes in healthcare billingpractices
• Strong knowledge of healthcarereimbursementmethodologies
