JOB OVERVIEW :
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day janitorial operations for our client and ensuring a safe and professional work environment.
Job Location : Burnaby, BC
Shift Type : Full Time
Wage range : $80,000 - 90,000 / yearly
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead and manage daily site operations to ensure all contractual and client standards are metSupervise, coach, and support a team of up to 40 employees , including frontline staff and supervisorsTrain new hires and support ongoing employee development and performanceBuild a positive, professional, and safety-focused work environmentAct as the primary liaison between the client and internal teamsManage inventory and supplies efficiently to control costsAddress issues proactively and implement practical, risk-aware solutionsHandle performance management, corrective actions, and policy enforcement when requiredSupport project work, growth initiatives, or additional sites as neededProvide occasional after-hours support (evenings / weekends) to meet operational needsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Work-related experience equivalent to a business-related post-secondary diplomaMinimum 5 year of related work experienceAbility to pass Canadian Criminal Background CheckIntermediate knowledge of MS Office,Understanding of Business AccountingComprehensive understanding of the Employment Standards Act and Occupational Health and Safety ActStrong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsBEST is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
