We are seeking a Machinist to join our team! You will operate and repair a variety of machines and mechanical instruments.

Responsibilities :
- Verify dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers;
- Machine parts to specifications in accordance with engineering drawings, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders;
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations;
- Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers;
- Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs;
- Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues;
- Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to display placement of cuts;
Qualifications :
- Ability to use general assembly tools impact gun, torque wrench, etc.;
- Ability to operate hoist and lifting equipment, prepare jigs;
- Minimum 5 years of experience using and / or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (radial drilling, lathes, grinders etc.);
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) take accurate measurements;
- Knowledge of properties of metal and other material;
- Must know how to read blueprints / drawings and follow engineering instructions
