Production Assembler

Overview

A Day in Your Life at MKS : As a Production Assembler at Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc., you will be responsible for assembling all electronic component parts including the preparation, placement, and installation of all component parts. In this role, you will report to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manual assembly of electronic components including complex and accurate parts according to assembly procedures, custom specs and quality standards.
• Perform hand soldering and test, mixed assemblies and custom parts.
• Component preparation, placement and installation.
• Final assembly and / or pack and ship as required.
• The mechanical assembly as required.
• Conduct repair / touch up / modifications on the products as required.
• Be able to work on different aspects of manufacturing operations.
• Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set.
• Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives, 5s, and safety procedures.
• Other duties as required.

Hourly Pay Rate : $20.00 per hour. This rate is a reasonable expectation of pay for this position, based on a range of factors including qualifications, experience, education, training, operational and business needs and other considerations.
