Who we need Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, we are looking for a Project Manager to join us for a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension.

You will support the Project Management Office (PMO) with project planning and execution of activities to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives that support organizational growth.

You will play an integral role in implementing multiple projects, prioritizing communication and stakeholder engagement and management.

This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. Who you are You are a Project Manager with strategic and technology project management and implementation experience looking for a new challenge where you can introduce and apply best practices.

As our Project Manager, you will : Plan projects. You will work with project sponsors, committees, and teams to establish project governance, set project priorities, identify, gather, and document requirements, and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and detailed project plans.

You will coordinate internal resources and third parties / for the efficient execution of projects. Key Projects include : Compliance and Security Initiatives : Oversee data security audits, coordinating individuals and meeting critical deadlines.

Also support the organization with the accreditation process, ensuring that CDI is properly and adequately prepared to demonstrate its compliance during pre-site and on-site assessment processes by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.

System Implementations and Updates : Complete the implementation of client record and evaluation systems, and manage server updates and file management improvements, ensuring collaboration and effective change management.

Program Application Development : Oversee the development and implementation of interactive applications to support program delivery and data collection, ensuring the project stays on track and managing the development process, especially in its initial stages.

Strategic Plan Implementation : Translate the new 5-year strategic plan into actionable objectives and tasks, ensuring accountability and alignment across the organization.

Acts as the primary day-to-day project manager. You will monitor tasks, maintain the plan, track and report on progress, and address issues.

You will identify and manage project schedule, budget, scope, and impact variances and communicate actual or projected variances for project status reporting.

You will maintain up-to-date risk, issue, change, and decision logs. Implement and adhere to best practices. You will contribute to and apply the project management framework.

You will develop templates, tools, and processes to facilitate an efficient and effective means for regulatory compliance.

You will lead the identification, documentation and monitoring of project risks and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

You will actively support management in developing their knowledge, skills, and capacity to use project management methodologies.

Share project knowledge. You will create presentations and effectively communicate information to internal and external partners.

You will document and plan current and future business practices and workflows. In addition, you will identify lessons learned throughout the projects for continuous improvement based on outcomes, feedback and best practices.

You have : The project management. You are highly organized and supportive of new ideas and initiatives. From collecting and identifying business requirements to developing and executing change management plans, you have proven success leading complex technology projects from end to end.

You have experience nurturing relationships with teams, stakeholders and vendors, negotiating, influencing without authority, and managing expectations.

You have practical knowledge of project management processes and software, ideally MS Planner. You can effectively prioritize work in an environment of competing demands while achieving established benchmarks and KPIs.

The communication skills. You have exceptional listening skills and mental attentiveness. You can focus on the needs of individuals or groups.

You can adapt your written and verbal communication style to ensure transparency, authenticity, and understanding. You embrace the opportunity to work with groups from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

The integrity. You can work in a highly distractible environment with sensitivity to the uniqueness and demands of a public service agency, handling interruptions that require constant refocusing.

You are a dedicated and supportive team player. You have high standards of accountability and prioritize professionalism and respect.

You are open to feedback and coaching and have a demonstrated ability to work in a respectful manner with groups from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

You are calm in the face of conflict or difficulty and can manage complex issues related to projects and communication. The desire to make a difference.
