The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.
Objective
- Manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects and Programs (products and systems)
- Deliver safe solutions (Projects and Programs)
Key accountabilities
Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project / system / product as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety InstructionPerform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspectiveDefine safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planningSupport tenders and / or RC teams to integrate product / system in projectsBuild the Safety Reports and / or the Safety CasesApply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / productOrganize and attend periodic Safety ReviewsDefend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessorsManage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources)If identified as Safety Leader for a Safety Issue, manage 8D steps as per processKey Job Authorities and Dimensions
