Lead Welder / Fitter

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Lead Welder / Fitter . This role offers the chance to make a strong impact by leading welding activities, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality fabrication using CWB-certified MIG and TIG processes.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

• Leading day-to-day welding and fitting activities on custom fabrication projects.
• Performing high-precision MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Reading and interpreting complex fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Fitting, assembling, and welding components to exact specifications.
• Training, guiding, and supporting junior welders and apprentices.
• Inspecting completed welds and ensuring compliance with CWB standards and shop quality procedures.
• Coordinating workflow, setting priorities, and assisting the shop supervisor with planning.
• Operating fabrication equipment such as saws, torches, grinders, and overhead cranes.
• Working with the engineering and production teams to resolve fabrication challenges.
