We are seeking to fill this position which could be based out of any of our three office locations, Victoria, Richmond or Kamloops.

Job Title : Project Coordinator

Schedule : Monday to Friday, set between 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Wage : $34-$37 per hour

About Us :

Terra Archaeology Ltd. is a well-established consulting firm specializing in cultural resource management and archaeological services throughout British Columbia. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Victoria.

Position Overview :

A Project Coordinator at Terra is responsible for the daily operational aspects of archaeological projects, crew support, business operations, and corporate initiatives, including Indigenous Partnerships. Success in this role demands exceptional time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to meet project deadlines. The Project Coordinator organizes and communicates task-specific details, serving as the central liaison between team members and managers to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

As the Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include :

  • Coordinating project management activities, resources, and information
  • Breaking down projects into manageable tasks and setting clear timeframes
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management
  • Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that may arise
  • Ensuring accurate data entry of daily labor, equipment, and expenses for payroll submission
  • Approving accounts receivable invoices for clients
  • Performing other duties as required to support project and business operations

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Practical experience with cost estimates, timesheets, technical documentation, and project schedules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with project management software would be an asset
  • Post secondary education preferred
