Daytime hours only — Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

No evenings and only one weekend throughout the summer. Your summer nights and weekends stay yours!

Variety! Every day is different — mowing grass, pruning trees, caring for flower beds, helping in playgrounds, maintaining sports fields, and more.

You’ll learn new skills, operate equipment, and gain valuable municipal experience.

You’re helping families, kids, seniors, athletes, walkers, and bikers enjoy safe, clean, beautiful parks.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Parks Labourer, you’ll help keep our parks, trails, playgrounds, and open spaces looking their best all summer long!

Your days might include :

Park & Greenspace Care

Trees, Trails & Outdoor Amenities

Equipment Use whilesupporting the Parks Team and contributing to a friendly, safe, hardworking crew

Requirements :

Minimum18 years of age

Class 5 Driver’s License and a valid Driver’s Abstract

Standard First Aid / CPR / AED

RCMP Criminal Record Check

Ability to obtain WHMIS certification

Experience operating equipment such as mowers, tractors, or skid steers is an asset — but not required!

Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm.
