Daytime hours only — Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

No evenings and only one weekend throughout the summer. Your summer nights and weekends stay yours!

  • Variety! Every day is different — mowing grass, pruning trees, caring for flower beds, helping in playgrounds, maintaining sports fields, and more.

    • What You’ll Be Doing

    As a Parks Labourer, you’ll help keep our parks, trails, playgrounds, and open spaces looking their best all summer long!

    Your days might include :

  • Park & Greenspace Care
  • Trees, Trails & Outdoor Amenities
  • Equipment Use whilesupporting the Parks Team and contributing to a friendly, safe, hardworking crew

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum18 years of age
  • Class 5 Driver’s License and a valid Driver’s Abstract
  • Standard First Aid / CPR / AED
  • RCMP Criminal Record Check
  • Ability to obtain WHMIS certification
  • Experience operating equipment such as mowers, tractors, or skid steers is an asset — but not required!

    • Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm.

  • 4 month term - Beginning May 2026, ending August 28, 2026
