General Labourer / Packager

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Labourer / Packager to join our team. This role involves supporting various warehouse and construction operations, including heavy lifting, equipment operation, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and experience with warehouse or construction environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in heavy equipment operation and warehouse management systems while contributing to efficient logistics and project completion.

Pay Rate :  $19.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Packaging items into boxes ready for shipment.
• Load and unload materials.
• Perform order picking and shipping & receiving tasks accurately and efficiently
• Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including inventory management and stock organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and productivity.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and warehouse procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Prior experience in warehouse distribution.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in physically demanding roles requiring attention to safety standards.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
