Position : ITQA Program Manager Location : Remote with occasional on-site in Brampton, ON Job Type : 12+ months contract Our client is currently undergoing a digital transformation focused on enhancing service delivery and is looking to hire a Senior Program Manager for IT Quality Assurance on a contract basis.

The ITQA program aims to create and uphold standardized processes, roles, performance metrics, and technical tools to enhance and sustain measurable quality levels for technology solutions during implementation and ongoing support.

The ITQA Program Manager will take the lead in establishing the program's framework, roles, and technical infrastructure for effective quality assurance, initially focusing on the Salesforce platform and extending to other technology platforms.

This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, guided by IT Solutions leadership, to propose and manage projects that align with the program's objectives for quality assurance and testing standards development and maintenance.

Some of the key responsibilities include : - Direct and support a central project team, possibly comprised of internal, external, and other Project Managers - Establish and manage an efficient technical QA operational team of QA specialists and testers, ensuring adequate resourcing through supervision, motivation, mentorship, and periodic resource assessments - Take charge of defining, choosing, and implementing standardized technical quality processes and tools, encompassing manual and automated application testing and regression testing - Ensure the alignment of the ITQA program with IT Solutions Project Management Office project management standards - Develop comprehensive project plans for large-scale projects or interconnected sub-projects - Supervise the identification, measurement, continuous tracking, and communication of project outcomes and benefits to validate project investments and showcase their contribution to departmental strategic goals - Regularly report project performance to ITQA management and the IT Director, including comparisons between actual and expected delivery parameters, while identifying ways to enhance goal attainment Key Requirements : - 8+ years of program management experience and extensive project management experience in developing and delivering complex projects - Strategic planning experience in an enterprise technology environment - 5+ years of people leadership / supervision of in-house staff, including leading technical quality assurance professionals supporting complex enterprise-wide systems - 3+ years of experience in the field of software quality assurance or related software development lifecycle activities - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Testing certifications in IIST, ISEB, CSQA and / or ISTQB are a must - Strong people skills, including the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with diverse groups, facilitations skills, and exceptional customer service skills to deliver outcomes that meet the needs of the client - Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have : - Hands-on experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies - Previous experience with technical Quality Assurance for Salesforce applications - Experience delivering programs or complex projects in the public / non-profit sector - Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) and Program Management Professional (PgMP) certifications would be nice to have Please send your resume in Word format to Zhanna Zajac at zhanna.
