Here is a summary of the list of tasks :

• Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
• Review plans, specifications, and addenda
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and bid summaries
• Request, receive, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Follow up with trades to ensure complete pricing
• Input quantities and pricing into estimating tools or spreadsheets
• Help identify scope gaps, exclusions, and inconsistencies
• Organize bid documents and maintain estimating files
• Support senior estimators during bid preparation and closing
• Assist with project handover to the project management team
