This client is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Based in Victoria, this opportunity will allow for remote work with occasional travel to Victoria. This company is looking for an adaptive problem solver to help streamline their operations, and continue to stay on board maximizing payroll efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Multi Province payroll for 500-600 salaried employees
• Time keeping and adjustments for 100+ hourly employees
• Full cycle payroll processing including T4s and ROEs
• Communicating with onsite managers across Canada
• Communication with the external payroll team
• Monitoring the payroll inbox and responding to all inquiries
• Bonus calculations
• Improve internal payroll procedures

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

• 5+ years full cycle Canadian Payroll experience
• Experience with software implementations and process improvement
• ADP Workforce Now experience is a strong asset
• PCP required, PCM preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving, team player with leadership skills
