The position : We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer for an agri-food manufacturing plant located in Laval, to start immediately.
Position 40 hours / week - On site. Reporting to the Vice President Operations, you will be in charge of the following tasks : - Working with the maintenance and production departments, you will play a key role in managing performance indicators and standardizing processes.
- You will act as continuous improvement project manager, and ensure that non-conformities are properly managed. - You will be a driving force in solving technical problems and increasing productivity while reducing costs.
- You make strategic recommendations to improve procedures (modification of manufacturing equipment, implementation of corrective actions, etc.
Other related tasks in connection with the plant's continuous improvement (support for new equipment start-ups, supervision of major tests).
Your professional skills : - Autonomous, with excellent interpersonal skills, you are also a great communicator. - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities - A hands-on person, you enjoy managing projects and uniting a team around a project.
Your profile : - At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar position - Experience in the food industry an asset - Bilingual English / French -Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering -Salary : $85k - $110k depending on experience - Full group insurance, group RRSP (employer contribution up to 3%), product discounts, negotiable vacations
