Job Title : PLC Technician

Status : Contract to Permanent

Pay : $28 / hr+

Shift : Days

Location : Brampton, ON

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electrical industry is looking for a PLC Electrical Technician to join their team on a full time basis.

The right candidate must have experience with PLC Allen Bradley.

Responsibilities

The ability to successfully manage the challenges of being in the field, handling the installation, testing and commissioning of PLC system integration in industrial environments
The ability to conceptualize large scale solutions, keep an eye on the details and communicate your ideas and technical knowledge, clearly and concisely
Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulic systems, as they relate to Industrial Automation
Excellent time and project management skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Self-Motivated leader with aspirations of success and growth

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering

1-2 Years experience in programming, designing, and implementing PLC

PLC troubleshooting and debugging experience.

Experience working with automated machinery

Experience working with Siemens, Allen Bradley and Schneider automation systems

Advanced math knowledge

Electrical engineering and design an asset
