Mountain Sports Distribution (MSD) is a leading powersports distributor based in Golden, BC. We specialize in distributing high-quality equipment and gear to outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers across Canada.

We are currently expanding our team and seeking an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Sales Representative for the British Columbia region.
We offer a compensation package with a competitive base salary and commission structure, paid expenses, as well as an employee health and dental benefit program.
This position is based in British Columbia. The successful candidate should have a passion for the powersports industry, a proven sales track record, and the ability to work independently to achieve sales goals within the region.
Corporate Sales Representative Responsibilities :
- Deliver exceptional service to a diverse set of dealer types while achieving sales objectives.
- Identify dealer needs and collaborate with appropriate resources to bring positive solutions and grow sales.
- Create and execute on regular account visit schedules in alignment with company standards.
- Maintain and grow existing book of business by developing strong partnerships with key decision makers within the territory.
- Cultivate consultative based sales relationships with dealers to grow and expand sales of existing and new product lines.
- Generate sales to meet defined sales goals and maintain regular dealer visits as per company directives.
- Strive to earn the right to be the provider of product, information, and technology to all dealers.
- Target and secure new business to grow sales profitability and align with MSD sales goals.
- Create and execute strategies for effective account and territory management to maximize sales growth.
- Track and monitor dealer purchase activity.
- Develop strong partnerships within the MSD team, dealership employees, and key vendor representatives.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of market and actively work to increase market share.
- Strategic placement and growth of distributed and proprietary brands.
- Support MSD initiatives and programs as required.
- Carry out assigned duties in a manner consistent with MSD core values.
- Maintain appropriate level of sales samples, related support material to provide product presentations on a regular basis.
- Provide regular feedback to MSD on sales results, sales planning, and market information.
- Attend regional shows and events to support MSD and / or dealers as required.
- Attend sales meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Corporate Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications
- High-energy and goal-oriented personality
- Self-starting attitude and personal initiative
- 1-3 years outside sales experience (or industry related experience) with proven ability to drive new business.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
- Computer with internet access
- Cell phone
- Good working knowledge of MS suite applications (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook)
- Familiarity with the entire MSD catalog of offerings and services
