Job description

Select People Solutions is looking for a Construction Manufacturing Manager. Successful candidates will be managing day-to-day production activities, monitor quality and timelines, and keep crews and workflows moving safely and efficiently. If you have hands-on experience in construction or site operations and are a strong leader, we want to hear from you!

Position Summary :

Plan production processes to ensure goals and objectives are met

Provide problem solving support and troubleshooting as needed during production shift

Coordinate with department managers to ensure all materials and equipment are available and functioning correctly

Ensure all company and provincial safety requirements are met and introduce suggestions for streamlining and continuous improvement of safety programs

Support all departments to ensure a collective achievement of goals

Work with management team to lead and develop professionals through their performance and developmental plans

Complete all reporting needed at the end of shifts, and ensure they are filled quickly and accurately

Required Qualifications :

5-7 years of experience in construction

Post Secondary Education in Business Administration or related

3-5 years of experience in a production / manufacturing environment

Strong financial and business acumen

Must be a proven leader with examples of how they have developed a team to organizational success

Bonus Points For :

Certification in Project Management

Experience working and managing within a union environment

Journeyman Certification in Carpentry or Electrical trades

Experience in modular construction
