Freight Coordinator

The position is responsible for the coordination and management of the administrative aspects of moving goods, ensuring that shipments are processed accurately, on time.

Major Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following :

• Verify freight invoices against quotes and actual shipments
• Resolve discrepancies with carriers and invoices
• Become WISL expert at the CDC
• Set‑up carriers as needed
• Creation of commercial invoices
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is applied to shipments
• Arrange Paps with carrier and customs broker
• Resolve day‑to‑day issues with carriers
• Analyzing freight costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and implementing strategies to optimise shipping expenses
• Provide weekly freight status reports to management
• Proactively identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the CDC with freight
• Assist DOO with branch freight analysis (courier choice‑use and spend, own truck / driver analysis, etc.)
