Medical Laboratory Assistant

Responsible for all duties related to specimen collection and processing data entry referral specimens and office duties.

Qualifications :

• Medical Laboratory Professionals Association of Ontario (MLPAO) and / or Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS / SCSLM) certification.
• 2 - 5 years recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Knowledge of laboratory computer systems
• Medical Terminology Certificate
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with the public
• Must be able to read write speak and understand English
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

Additional Information :

Hours :  Monday - Sunday; Various rotating shifts; weekends & holidays  (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary :   $30.49 to $35.16 per hour
