Job Title : Financial Analyst - Business Partner

Location : Montreal (Hybrid)

Salary : Up to 110K depending on experience

Duration : 12 months contract

Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst Business Partner, you will play a key role in providing financial support to the company's operations and work closely with the various departments to provide in-depth analysis and strategic advice.

Your primary responsibilities include :

• Review and analyze the company's financial performance, identify financial trends, opportunities, and risks. Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with different operational teams to understand their financial needs, provide analytical support, and assist in budgeting, planning, and resource allocation decision-making.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess the potential impacts of business decisions on the company's profitability.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis to influence business decisions and maximize value to the business.
• Participates in the development of annual budgets, monitors variances between actual performance and forecasts, and adjusts forecasts as needed.
• Present complex financial analysis in a clear and concise manner to internal stakeholders, including senior management.
• Participate in all process improvement initiatives
• Perform ad hoc analyses

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Demonstrated professional experience as a financial analyst.
• Strong skills in financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
