We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Generalist to join our Winnipeg team. As an integral part of our Human Resources department, the HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our workforce and fostering a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and procedures, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Administer HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, performance evaluations, and internal and web based training programs.
  • Be a leader in workers compensation / return to work processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Backup for benefits and payroll administration
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support organizational goals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced excel formula usage
  • Hands on or direct experience in Supply Chain or Trucking Industry preferred
