We are looking for a motivated individual who loves to work outdoors to join our professional team as a Yard Coordinator / General Labourer at our Trench Safety branch located in Gormley, ON .

Please note, to be considered for this position applicants should currently be residing in Canada and legally entitled to work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect returned equipment, red tag, and cycle through the service workflow. Rotate equipment from wash bay, to necessary service bay, to prep and paint and back into the service line.
  • Communicate damage to branch manager right away for Work Order management.
  • Keep Build a box, XLAP shields, adjustable spreader and high arch spreader stacked, unbuild, serviced, and neatly organized at all times.
  • Communicate parts requisitions to shop foreman for purchase.
  • Wash/Clean equipment, maintain clean physical facilities, organize equipment in the yard.
  • Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Work closely with other Team Members to complete tasks in a timely & efficient manner.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable working outdoors.
  • Valid Gdriver’s license with a driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points).You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
  • Individual must be detailed oriented, organized, and display pride in their work keeping the equipment under their management clean, serviced and always organized.
  • Available to work overtime when required.
  • Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
