CAD Technician / Civil Drafter (Civil + Geotechnical + Construction)

We’re looking for an experienced CAD Technician with experience working across civil, geotechnical, and construction projects. The ideal candidate understands how drawings translate into real-world work and can move easily between design updates, field data, and construction requirements.

The CAD Technician / Civil Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and technical documents for construction projects. This role supports engineers and project teams by producing accurate 2D / 3D drawings, updating revisions, and ensuring that all designs comply with project standards and engineering principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare IFR and IFC drawing packages for civil, earthworks, grading, servicing, and geotechnical structures.
• Create clear and buildable construction details, sections, and plan / profile sheets.
• Build accurate base files and surfaces from survey pickups, drone photogrammetry, borehole / test pit data, and site topography.
• Support engineers and field staff with design iterations, redlines, construction-stage updates, and quick-turnaround drafting.
• Produce drawings for temporary works, staging plans, site layouts , and field coordination.
• Project needs vary—expect up to 60% office or 80% field at different times (drafting, layout, survey pickups, drone topo, etc.).
