Job description

Bilingual Shipping Supervisor (Warehouse Supervisor)

Full-Time, Permanent

Location : Laval, Quebec, On-site

Base Salary Range : Up to $82,000 + Up to 13% Bonus

Work Schedule & Hours - Standard Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7 : 00 a.m. – 3 : 30 p.m. (regular hours)
  • Supervisor coverage needed until 4 : 30 p.m.

COMPANY : Our client is a leading North American manufacturer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe and fittings. It is one of the largest suppliers of PVC piping systems used across multiple infrastructure and building markets, with over 50 years of industry experience.

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bilingual French English required
  • High School Diploma or GED required with some post-secondary education.
  • 2+ Years’ experience in warehousing or manufacturing for a high-volume multi-product manufacture
  • Experience as a Shipping Loader Operator (must have) , or equivalent, and has demonstrated a good working knowledge of safe and efficient truck-loading procedures is an asset.
  • Must have basic math skills – Basic math test.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Exposure to ERP systems requiring handheld picking
  • Experience driving PIV equipment (LPG sit-downs, reach lifts, pallet riders) – Must have.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft AX-JDE-SAP preferred)

    • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word / Excel)

  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
