THE ROLE :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations, assisting with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
The HR Administrator will serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping to foster a positive work environment while maintaining HR records and documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding :
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, contracts, and relevant documentation
- Coordinate new employee orientation and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
- Assist in the offboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions, exit interviews, and proper documentation
HR Administration :
- Manage our PEO relationship
- Maintain accurate employee records via support of our PEO
- Assist with employee benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Process employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of employee data for HR and payroll purposes
Recruitment Support :
- Assist with posting job advertisements and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers
- Prepare interview schedules and assist with interview logistics
Employee Relations & Communication :
- Provide administrative support for employee relations matters and ensure timely resolution of HR-related inquiries.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Compliance & Recordkeeping :
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR policies, legal regulations, and company standards.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, including health and safety and equal opportunity employment.
- Help with audits and maintain accurate documentation for legal compliance
General HR Support :
- Assist with training coordination, tracking, and employee development programs.
- Assist in performance management processes, including scheduling reviews and tracking progress.
- Support HR projects as needed, including employee surveys, employee engagement initiatives, and policy updates.
QUALIFICATIONS : Education :
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CHRP) considered an asset
Experience :
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Canadian labor laws and HR best practices US and UK considered an asset

Salary Range : $45,000-50,000
Pay in lieu of Benefits : 5% of salary
Pension / RRSP Match : up to 4% of salary
